US House - Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District

Enough division.
Reform starts now.

I’m Mike Foley, proud husband, father, veteran, and engineer. Born and raised in Minnesota’s 6th district with values centered on family, faith, and hard work. I’m running for Congress because I’m tired of watching the folks who built this country get ignored by the ones running it.

I’ve led in a war zone, guiding high‑pressure decisions, then led engineering teams in industry through technical challenges to get things done. What we are seeing in Washington isn’t leadership - it’s dysfunction. I’m fed up with career politicians fueling division while working families get left behind.

That’s why I’m fighting to clean up government corruption and push real congressional reforms like term limits and restrictions on stock trading. I’ll put people back at the center of government. That means protecting our freedoms, defending the Constitution, and restoring integrity. It means smart investing, no handouts, and an economy that empowers the American People, not career politicians.

Why I’m Running

I trusted our leaders to keep their oath to the people. Everything changed when I asked my congressman to act on a veteran’s report of stolen valor - a government official claiming a medal and heroic actions he never earned. After I provided evidence, the office acknowledged me once and then went silent. Nearly a year of follow‑ups produced nothing. It felt like insiders protecting insiders.

If a veteran’s call for truth is ignored, its safe to assume working families also have no voice.

That silence showed me a pattern: no public town halls, only private events for big donors, and a steady distance from everyday people. If a veteran’s call for truth and accountability is met with radio silence, what hope do working families and small towns have for being heard?

I am tired of being ignored and of watching career politicians favor insiders while everyday Minnesotans get left behind. I believe we can do better: more accountability, real listening, and leadership that serves people. That is why I am running for Congress, to make sure our voices matter again and to bring principled, results-oriented service back to Minnesota’s 6th District.

Core Priorities

  • Lower costs by bringing stability and growing the economy. Lower taxes through responsible budgeting. No more unpredictable tariffs or endless conflicts.

  • Term limits; stop insider trading; rebuild a government that serves families, not factions.

  • Defend the Constitution, protect free speech, free markets, and individual liberty.

  • Price transparency, better rural access, and urgent mental-health care without partisan politics.

  • Faster care, real job training, and a VA that actually serves veterans — not just ceremonies.

  • Invest in strong public schools, local control, and real-world training that leads to real jobs
